Automatic Meter System Update

We are excited to announce that the WCID staff is in the process of converting the residential water meters in Belterra to an automatic meter reading system. We will be continuing our efforts to convert to a direct meter reading program the week of March 22nd – 26th. During this time, you will see several Inframark team members within the community. The first wave of staff will be preparing the meter boxes, followed by another team that will be changing out your water meter.

During the meter changeout, you may experience a temporary interruption in water service, which should be no longer than 15 to 20 minutes (under normal conditions).

Please be assured that our staff will be mindful of the continued distancing order, however, they may attempt contact to notify you of the brief water outage or any delays that may arise during the visit.

Once your water meter has been converted ad updated in our billing system, you will receive information regarding the Eye on Water website, which will allow you to monitor your usage and customize various alerts as you see fit for your household.

While creating an account through this portal is voluntary, there are many benefits to signing up, some of which include:

  • Unlimited access to your water usage history for tracking and monitoring purposes. This is especially useful in the summer months when irrigation use is amped up.
  • Usage history can be viewed monthly, daily, hourly, and even as low as down to the minute if needed.
  • Alerts are available for customizing to your needs, such as high usage, continuous flow, etc.
  • Email or text messages can be sent to you via the web portal, so you have more timely notifications in the event there is a leak at your property.
