July 15th Pubic Meeting NoticeJul 9, 2021
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 551 of the Texas Government Code, and the March 16, 2020 action of the Office of the Attorney General suspending certain requirements of Section 551, that the Board of Directors of Hays County Water Control and Improvement District No 2 will conduct a Regular Board meeting by Zoom audio/video conference at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021, for the purposes stated herein.
In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and pursuant to the Proclamation dated March 13, 2020 by Governor Greg Abbott (declaring Texas to be in a State of Disaster), as subsequently extended, and associated Press Release dated March 16, 2020 from the Texas Attorney General’s office (suspending certain requirements of the Texas Open Meetings Act), the District will be conducting these meetings by Zoom video conference, and members of the public will be able to join by telephonic conference.
Members of the public may join this meeting toll-free by calling 888-475-4499 or 877-853-5257 (Meeting ID: 886 8546 2643; Passcode: 978515), and those who wish to provide public comments should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org at least one hour prior to the meeting indicating their name and the item(s) upon which they would like to address the Board.
