Welcome to Hays County WCID 2
Hays County Water Control and Improvement District No. 2 (the "District") is a WCID created in 2001 by order of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The District contains approximately 970 acres of land and is located in Hays County.
The District has constructed and operates water, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities to serve its residents.
The mission of the HAYS COUNTY WCID NO. 1 & 2 is to provide reliable, low-cost utility services and quality parks, contributing to a higher quality of life for Belterra residents.

- Provide for payment and satisfaction of the District's existing debt and contract obligations
- Protect investments into all District infrastructure by actively maintaining and improving existing systems
- Comply with all legal requirements, bond covenants, and contractual obligations of the District

Important Water Notice
Hays WCIDs No. 1 and No. 2 has a Wholesale Water Service Agreement with West Travis County Public Utility Agency (WTCPUA) to provide Belterra with drinking water.

Hays Water Control Improvement District (WCID) 2 is exploring the possibility of installing a paved foot path from the northeast corner of Naples Ln to the sidewalk along Belterra Dr.
April 15th Regular Meeting Notice
The Hays County Water Control and Improvement District No. 2 (HWCID 2) Board of Directors will be having a public meeting via telephone conference call to discuss district business. Members of the public may participate in the meeting via videoconference and telephone conference call.

During the weeks of MARCH 22nd and March 29th, TDS will be picking up brush in Belterra.
Automatic Meter System Update
We are excited to announce that the WCID staff is in the process of converting the residential water meters in Belterra to an automatic meter reading system. We will be continuing our efforts to convert to a direct meter reading program the week of March 22nd – 26th. During this time, you will see several Inframark team members within the community. The first wave of staff will be preparing the meter boxes, followed by another team that will be changing out your water meter.
