Welcome to Hays County WCID 2
Hays County Water Control and Improvement District No. 2 (the "District") is a WCID created in 2001 by order of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The District contains approximately 970 acres of land and is located in Hays County.
The District has constructed and operates water, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities to serve its residents.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the HAYS COUNTY WCID NO. 1 & 2 is to provide reliable, low-cost utility services and quality parks, contributing to a higher quality of life for Belterra residents.
MANAGEMENT OBJECTIVES
- Maintain the District’s Superior Public Water System rating
- Provide for payment and satisfaction of the District's existing debt and contract obligations
- Protect investments into all District infrastructure by actively maintaining and improving existing systems
- Comply with all legal requirements, bond covenants, and contractual obligations of the District
- Improve customer satisfaction
- Reduce taxes
- Provide the highest possible park services
